Day Three in San Jose for #QBConnect

How do I start. Such a huge event here in San Jose. We start with Rich Preece giving an update of recent QBOA updates and a look at what's coming, which I previewed with you yesterday. The highlight of the morning was that the global Firm of the Future winner was announced. It was inspiring to see that all 4 finalists were women owned firms. It is a proud day for Canada that our very own AIS Solutions and Kninja Network was the global winner. They had their Canadian cheering section and we were all outfitted with red and white pom poms and filled with Canadian pride, as Juliet Aurora and Steve Loates went up on stage to accept their over sized cheque. I would like to extend a very heartfelt congratulations to all four finalists as it takes a lot of hard work to be recognized as the best in the country. And of course a super Canuck congratulations to AIS on their amazing win.

We then acknowledged the 25 most powerful women in accounting and heard a fireside chat with some whom were in attendance. It is great to see such inspiring role models breaking boundary's for all of us women out there. Of course there are a ton of breakout sessions for you to take depending on what you are looking to get out it. And don't forget to take time for checking out the all the apps, networking and making new friends.
